Wolves on the Water Champions 2010

Randy Ericson of Pierre, SD and his team-mates WIN the Wolves on the Water Tourney held out of New Everts...May 15th….with a weight of 25.95lbs.
Randy has been fishing the Wolves tourney for about five years now…..it is a tourney that he and his friends all enjoy participating in each year….Randy’s team-mates are Aaronn Miller, and Bob Propst Jr..
Talking with Jr. , he said Randy had asked him if he wanted to fish with him and Aaron this year, as their regular partner was unable to make it. He said that he would, and was totally impressed with this tourney……”It is an amazing tournament, with so many prizes raffled off and given away, the gun raffle, and the great steak feed”! “just an awesome tourney that is run very smoothly…..I was totally impressed, and will defiantly fish it again.” One of he things that Jr. liked about the tourney was the three man format…...it is nice to have the extra man….one to run the boat, one to run the net…..and one to watch lines and re-rig…..
Randy, Aaron, and Jr. had a plan that involved two spots to fish depending on the weather…...if the weather was nice…..it was a run up north…...if not, it was a spot in the Moreau River…..Tourney day turned out to be nice…..so they made the run north ...where they fished in 21-26’ of water...pulling flicker shads…...it defiantly worked for them!! CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!!
The Wolves on the Water Tourney is a fund raiser for Northern State Universaty Sports Department…..it is a field of 140 three-man teams, which if filled each year, and has a waiting list at that…...a great tourney, that is run well, ...lots of prizes, lots of fun, and just a nice relaxing tourney to fish……Hat’s off the Northern’s guys who handle this tourney…...GREAT JOB GUYS!!!
