05/21/2010

Hi guys! I was lucky enough to get the chance to chat with Jared Fluekiger…..WOW! What a tourney he has going!! Today he brought in a weight of 48.47 lbs to bump John Kolinski out of the lead…….his two day weight is…...a whopping 80.42lbs!!!!! That is totally AWESOME!! AIM is the newest pro walleye circuit out there today….with a CRR format……(Catch, Record, and Release), kicking off their season at Saginaw Bay, Wisconsin.
38 year old Jared, is from Alma, Wisconsin...he has fish professionally for five years…...taking last year off, he decided to come back and fish the AIM circuit this season…..What a GREAT way to start your season Jared!!! :-) When asked what he is doing to catch such great fish…..he simply replied…..”just jigging in the river” ...Tomorrow he will go out and have a good time and just try to catch what he needs to stay ahead of the pack…...the field of 48 boats will be shortened up tomorrow with half of them fishing for the Saginaw Bay Title…….go to www.aimfishing.com to watch what goes on with the AIM tourneys, and see what happens on the final day at Saginaw! Jared says that he is having a great time, in a great community, with a neat river to fish, and let me know that he can’t wait to get back there to fish some more!! His teammates, Chad Schilling and Tom Gatzke…..are all qualified to fish tomorrow…...GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!!!! :-)
